TJ and Chad review ‘Godzilla’ — though there will be those who would like to disqualify them from reviewing a film in a franchise where they have never seen any of the previous films. But TJ and Chad think they have something to bring to the table and so they do. They also discuss the rumor that Alfanso Cuaron may direct the ‘Harry Potter’ Spin-off ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ and whether or not that’s a good thing, possible Blu-ray release of the unadulterated original ‘Star Wars’ films, the new title for the upcoming Batman/Superman crossover film, comic book franchise wars and people being truly stupid, and more!

There’s nothing official yet, but fans of the film Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban may have a big reason to anticipate the new Harry Potter spin-off film, Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them. Here’s a kind of convoluted rumor for you to chew on as we continue to wait for no news about Star Wars: Episode VII. According to an interesting e-mail we’ve intercepted, and which purports to come from within Disney’s marketing department, the studio are planning to re-release A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi on DVD/Blu-Ray/On Demand in their original form, without all the things George Lucas changed for the “Special Edition” releases back in 2004.

Podcast hosts Jon August and Craig Mazin asked the screenwriters a few questions on how they approached the genre of superheroes and mythical warriors. As expected, Goyer answered some questions but avoided giving away spoilers on his upcoming projects bringing the DC Comics Universe to live-action. But it’s the way he spoke about a Marvel Comics hero which got our attention.
He continues to explain why The Avengers was successful, saying, “The Avengers is a mash-up of massive single character franchises of incredibly familiar characters and Iron Man. And did I mention Iron Man? Oh, and by the way – Iron Man.”
Since the human race seems to have a fascination with monsters, monsters in art, and monster movies, it is no surprise that a new Godzilla film has made its way from the cameras and computers of a studio near you, to your local theater.
The world's most famous monster is pitted against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity's scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.
