I’m still not convinced this movie is going to be any good. But I’ll definitely see it just for the Johnny Depp entertainment value.
Still, at this point, I’m not expecting to enjoy much else about the film.
Speaking of interesting looking sci-fi trailers:
Tom Cruise stars in Oblivion, an original and groundbreaking cinematic event from the director of TRON: Legacy and the producer of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. On a spectacular future Earth that has evolved beyond recognition, one man’s confrontation with the past will lead him on a journey of redemption and discovery as he battles to save mankind.
Well this is interesting. I had not seen this trailer before today, but it looks like it could be an interesting film if you’re into sci-fi as I am — well, I am at least to some extent. Maybe not as much as Corey.
This films is set apparently 1 year after cataclysmic events apparently force humans to leave earth. Will Smith and his son Jaden star in this film as a father and son who crash land on earth.
The visuals look impressive and the concept could be interesting. I’ll be keeping my eyes open for info on this film.
I don’t think I’ve posted anything about this yet. I can’t find it anyway. I saw this TV spot on Friday and bookmarked it to post. I’ve been seeing the theatrical trailer for a couple weeks now in my trips to the theater to see films for MovieByte.
It does look sort of interesting. However, I’m not sure how much I am going to approve morally of a film about a thief getting even with other thieves, and thieving while doing it.
In any event, here’s the TV Spot, and below that, the theatrical trailer.
Here we are, the promised teaser trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness before the theatrical trailer debuts with The Hobbit on the 14th.
As one might expect, it looks epic. I have a feeling I’m going to like this film better than the last, but we’ll see. The last film had a lot of obligatory reboot stuff, but unfortunately (in my opinion) the reboot wasn’t clean. They tied it to the old Star Trek while wiping the old Star Trek out and informing us this is the new timeline. It was an unfortunately choice in my opinion. But I’m willing to live in this new Star Trek universe now and enjoy it…
Read The RestI’m not actually expecting this to be any good, but I figure it’s worth putting up the trailer for.
EPIC is a 3D CG action-adventure comedy that reveals a hidden world unlike any other. From the creators of ICE AGE and RIO, EPIC tells the story of an ongoing battle deep in the forest between the forces of good who keep the natural world alive and the forces of evil who wish to destroy it. When a teen age girl finds herself magically transported into this secret universe, she must band together with a rag-tag team of fun and whimsical characters in order to save their world… and ours.
If you think you know the story, you don’t konw Jack!
Well, this looks like it could be interesting, or at the very least, fun. I personally continue to maintain that Singer is a great directory and have loved his movies that I have seen so I’m just going to assume this will be fantastic.
Read The RestJack the Giant Slayer tells the story of an ancient war that is reignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants. Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young…
This is pretty fun. I got to see this in the theater a couple days ago and at first I thought we were going to get to see a trailer for Catching Fire but I thought it seemed too early. It turns it, it is too early. But this will tide us over until a trailer comes out.
I have to say, it’s pretty cool! For those that may not know, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is the second installment in The Hunger Games trilogy. This one is being helmed by director Francis Lawrence, whom I don’t know much about. The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth…
