Get ready to get your mindless action flick on, because that’s what I expect Pacific Rim to be. Bolstering my opinion in this regard is the 30 second international TV spot that really tells us to expect nothing more than a lot of action and robots and stuff.
This Guillermo del Toro film will open in theaters on July 12, 2013, and stars Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day, Ron Perlman, Robert Kazinsky, Max Martini, Clifton Collins, Burn Gorman, Larry Joe Campbell, Brad William Henke and Diego Klattenhoff. I only recognize one name in that list, and he’s not a huge player as far as I know. So I’m not expecting a whole lot from this film.
