Warner Bros has been rumored to be reimagining Superman’s best friend Jimmy Olsen as a woman for its reboot.
A source previously told Comic Book Movie that the character will actually be Jimmy Olsen’s sister and not a gender-swapped version of the classic character.
Warner Bros is yet to comment on which rumor about the character is true.
I’ve previously mentioned the possibility/likelihood of this back in January. I don’t have a lot of opinion to add except that I’m more or less ambivalent about it. As long as it’s a good character, well written, well acted, and well integrated, I really don’t care.
