I have never seen a single episode of the TV show but a lot of people sure loved it. And I loved that they went and got crowd funding to put more of something people apparently loved on the screen. While I don’t know anything about the show I can appreciate that. And I can also appreciate that there’s definitely some sarcastic humor going on in this clip — almost (but maybe not quite) of the Joss Whedon sort.
The film was shot in 23 days and is in post production now. It features the same cast returning from the TV show. Veronica returns to her hometown of Neptune, California, after 10 years away to aid former flame Logan (Jason Dohring), who has been accused of killing his pop star girlfriend.
