Seriously guys, don’t watch this unless you want a huge spoiler to be revealed to you. Now, keep in mind this is the official marketing campaign and Marvel has proven themselves very adept with spoilers. And an argument can be made — quite successfully made I might add given how they handled the whole Manderin thing with Iron Man 3 — that if Marvel floats it out there they want you to know because they have something up their sleeves. Still, this trailer contains a possibly huge plot detail that, if it turns out to be true and played straight, I wish I did not know going in.
But I’m TJ, and I’m here for you. It’s my duty to watch stuff like this so I can warn you of the danger. I do it for you, my loyal readers! So take note.

MAJOR SPOILER ALERT:
Okay, have you watched? Is it spoiled?!? Let’s talk about this.
- There’s nothing saying that there’s not some fancy editing going on here both visually and with dialog. The only thing we see with Fury is him in a car of some sort giving a startled glance. Then we see a car getting blown up. We see Cap and Black Widow all sad and talking about stuff. And we hear Cap say something about Fury’s last words. But if you listen closely, it sounds like it could be strung together in the editing.
- Remember how the whole Mandarin thing went down. They could be pulling something in that line of thinking on us. Marvel has proven very masterful about this stuff.
- We’ve been lead to believe throughout the course of a Marvel film before that people were dead and we find out later they are not dead. So there’s that.
