JJ Abrams is looking to put one of us fans on the big screen, and would like to give us a tour of the set. That’s all cool and everything, and by entering you’re supporting charity (I do not know what all this organization supports and have not vetted so do your research and donate on your own morals and understanding), but let’s talk about this video.
The big deal is that it looks like he’s using a lot of practical effects and pracitals aliens and whatnot. This is good because if there’s a big complaint with George Lucas’ prequels, it’s that he went a little bit crazy with the CGI.
And of course, it’s just awfully cool to see the director of the film on the set of the upcoming Star Wars film. Check it out.
