One of the things that made seeing The Amazing Spider-Man 2 most worth my while was seeing an action sequence from the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past. I’m not really sure how Sony got roped in to doing the promotional work for Twentieth Century Fox but I loved seeing it. I continue to be more and more confident that this upcoming X-Men film is exactly what I’ve been wanting from the franchise for many years. And hopefully with the time travel stuff going on, we can just wipe X-Men: The Last Stand from existence — it’s just too bad we can’t wipe it from our memories as well.
The trouble is, if you felt that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was as mediore as I did, you might have bailed out of the theater before that point in the end credits (and I’m also hearing that not ever showing of the film had the X-Men credits tag). Though I think that you should almost always stay for the credits of a film, I would not blame you too much for bailing on this one. So if you missed it, here it is in all its glory.
X-Men: Days of Future Past will mutate its way to theaters on May 23rd.
