Lego ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ Short by Brotherhood Workshop

I loved Guardians of the Galaxy, but if I were nitpicking, I would point out that cassette tapes and cassette players rarely worked in a flawless enough way to keep a tape in good shape for 30 some years. In fact, in the real world, Peter Quill’s cassette tape would have died long ago just from normal magnetic and physical deterioration of the media. Then there’s the fact that after a tape player eats a tape enough times, it either breaks or becomes completely unplayable in some fashion. Then there’s the sound quality. I know we used to listen to those (roughly) 20KHz tapes all the time back in the ‘80s and ‘90s, but just trying going back and listening to one now after iTunes plus or 320Kbps MP3s. Yeah, yeah, I know neither of those are the audiophile quality, but their good enough. And then compared to cassette tapes…

But, my point is, this short makes fun of exactly these problems and it’s great.
