Oh my goodness this is so much fun! I want this so much! I think my favorite is Dr. McCoy. Looks just right for a cartoon version of the curmudgeonly doc!

The second season of Star Trek: The Next Generation saw a very important addition to the crew: Commander Riker’s trademark beard. This is not that beard:
I forgot about Data’s short lived attempt at a beard. As I recall, Counsellor Troi could hardly contain herself and had to stifle the giggling as she ran from the room.
Fun stuff.
Here, let me bring you a little bit of funny on this fine Friday morning.
This is so horrible, but so funny. It’s a must see. And we can be glad that Disney did not make the original Star Wars films, although this may have been an improvement over the prequels.
Warning, you will probably never be able to unsee this when watching Star Wars in the future.
Yo Mission Impossible fans, and movie geeks, or just geeks in general: this may be relevant to your interests!
Lindsey Stirling teamed up with The Piano Guys to do a Mission Impossible music video. The result is pure geek awesomeness. How could it be anything else when you put together such talented musicians with a flare for the dramatic? The Piano Guys are doing some of the most creative work around these days. And seriously, who doesn’t like Lindsey Stirling? Check it out! And be sure to watch the “deleted scenes” at the end.
If you will indulge my geeky side a moment. I know a few of you don’t like the Star Trek stuff, so if you are one of those, feel free to skip over this. I could not resist.
Though the style of this video with the over the top announcery voiceover is a little pompous and self important, I found this video to be really fun for the geek in me, showing the evolution of the Enterprise through out the Star Trek timeline (except for the new timeline of the JJ Abrams films).
The description on YouTube says this was taken from the Star Trek: Enterprise DVD Extras so you might want to watch…

National Geographic captured a cheetah running 60 MPH at 1200 frames per second. Resulting 24 frames per second playback results in this super slo-mo, super awesome video. Seriously, I can’t think of a cooler thing to watch this morning. It’s a good thing that kitty is somewhat tame, because nobody is going to be outrunning it! Check it out! Toward the end in the credits, you can see how fast that little kitty is actually running.
The Piano Guys are awesome and this is soooo worth watching.

This video was all filmed within a 20-mile radius in Southern Utah! There’s a rumor they might film The Hobbit II here. Well, at least there is now. =)
Story behind the song:
Since the beginning of The Piano Guys, “Lord of the Rings” has been our most requested work. As we reach one million subscribers we thought it fitting to dedicate this arrangement to our “subs.” This was an intimidating project—encompassing…
Willem Dafoe (on the right there) is ready to carve a Thanksgiving turkey, how about you?
On this Thanksgiving day, I personally am thankful for my friends, my family, my kids, the country I live in, a great year of films, the launch of MovieByte this year, and all of you. You guys are absolutely the best and you make this site possible!
Other than Joseph’s review of Lincoln which he finished yesterday, and we released today, and this post you’re reading right now, we won’t be posting today. Joseph and I will be spending time with our respective family and…
