I haven’ t posted about Rise of the Guardians yet because I’m just not sure whether it’s going to be any good. But that said, I can’t keep ignoring it. So, here’s some stuff about it.

This is looking like it will be a decent action film. G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra was decent. Not earth shatteringly good or anything, but I thought it was fun. And I think this film will fall right in that same category. Although having Bruce Willlis does have the possiblity of raising the bar.

Red Dawn is releasing this month so we can expect the marketing to really start ramping up.

Here’s a new TV spot. It looks like it could be a decent action flick, probably nothing more than that.

There’s a lot of grey haired british talent in this one.

Cecily, Reggie and Wilfred are in a home for retired opera singers. Every year, on October 10, there is a concert to celebrate Verdi’s birthday and they take part. Jean, who used to be married to Reggie, arrives at the home and disrupts their equilibrium. She still acts like a diva, but she refuses to sing. Still, the show must go on… and it does.

After watching the trailer I’m not sure whether it will be any good or not. It sort of looks like it might be, but it also looks like we’re going to need to wade through a lot of crass…

Get ready for laughs, explosions, and Bruce Willis… in Russia? You better believe it. And we are apparently going to meet John McClane’s adult son.

The music is also very reminiscent of the Die Hard early days. I like it.

Oh, and also, apparently the McClane family is “not a hugging family.”
