As usual, J.J. Abrams has done his best to keep a tight lid on the project which is sure to leave fans both excited and frustrated. But for those who were wondering whether we’d get to see any familiar faces that weren’t in the first film, you can at least count on this: the Klingons will be back.
As Abrams told MTV News, “Their role in this is definitely adversarial and you’ll see how that plays out.” What exactly that entails could be anyone’s guess at this point.
Great! The Klingons were always great villains. I’m surprised J.J. is confirming it though, being a man known for his secrecy about his films. I’m guessing that means the Klingons will have a pretty small role to play. Time will tell.
