Oh, no no no no no no… I think it’s safe to say that if Disney’s Planes was ever any good, or going to be any good it has officially jumped the shark now. I mean, ugh. Who wants to watch this??? This sort of thing, by the way, is why I was not a happy camper when Disney bought out Pixar. On the one hand, they have allowed Pixar to remain Pixar and not tampered too much, to my surprise (although one could argue that Pixar’s quality has gone down in recent years, I’m not convinced that Disney’s fault though), but they do have the rights to Pixar’s properties. And Disney will be Disney. They have now commoditized the Cars property with stupid spin-offs.

Well, see for yourself just how awful this looks. And no, this isn’t even a straight to DVD Home Video type of film. They plan to pawn this garbage off on us in the theater on July 18th. I do not plan to give them my money.
