The break-up frenzy that upended Glee earlier this month appears to be spreading to Bones.

On the heels of Sweets and Daisy’s sad split, fresh evidence has emerged that strongly suggests the long-running drama is about to drive a wedge between Angela and Hodgins too!

“Everything that came together in Season 7 is going to fall apart in Season 8,” exec producer Stephen Nathan reveals in the latest installment of Fox’s “Breakfast with Bones” video series. Adds series creator Hart Hanson: “A good template for the [season is], ‘Let’s test everybody who’s in love.’”

For one, there’s Juliette Barnes, the nubile crossover sensation whose popularity is threatening to dim Rayna’s spotlight. And while Juliette has a lot to learn about acting “nice,” and even as she sets her professional and prurient sights on Rayna’s bandleader Deacon, Hayden Panettiere is quick to sing her alter ego’s praises.

I loved the previous show that Hayden had a big part in, which was Heroes, but I haven’t seen her in anything since. And Nashville doesn’t look like my kind of show. Anyone know if it’s any good? Let us know in the comments.

Ian McDiarmid’s panel at New York Comic Con was absolutely charming, full of warmth and plenty of interesting facts and tidbits from our favorite galaxy far, far away. But one story in particular caught the audience, and that was how he got the part of Emperor Palpatine. We’ve got the whole tale right here, word for word.

Regardless of how you feel about Star Wars and George Lucas at this point, there is no question (at least in my mind) that Ian McDiarmid was and is the right guy to be Palpatine. It is obvious he plays the role with relish. And in any event, it’s a fun story.

A new trailer for the project shows the two crimefighters battling a horde of superpowered mandroids. “Maybe I shouldn’t have built so many mandroids!” says Iron Man. “Ya think?!?!” says Hulk. (They’re such good friends!) Iron Man is voiced by Adrian Pasdar (Heroes Nathan Petrelli), while Fred Tatasciore will one again voice the big green guy.

I’m not a big fan of animated films like this, and this looks really awful to me. But I don’t think less of people who are fans of animated films like this (at least not too much less). So if you are interested, here is the trailer.

I’m a big boy and I can admit when I’m wrong. As it turns out, I was wrong in my pre-judgement of this film. I’m not sure why, but this film looked like a painfully laborious snoozer to me from the trailers. Nothing could be further from the truth. I love this sort of marketing. The first time I really felt like it was used to great effect was with Toy Story 3. You might remember the retro Lots-o’-Huggin’ Bear Commercial. That’s just really good marketing in my opinion.

Well, they’re at the same sort of stuff with Wreck-It-Ralph, and it’s brilliant. In this commercial we get to see more of the Sugar Rush game, which seems to be quite a bit more than inspired by Mario Kart, with a whole bunch of Candy Land daubed on top.
