Pixar is so good at this stuff. In this sequel to Monsters Inc. the kiddos are going to college to learn how to square children and such. It’s a fun concept, and provides the really fun opportunity for ads like this.

I always think back to the awesome marketing for Toy Story 3, such as the Google Search Ad. It’s really great marketing, and though completely different in some ways, this ad for Monsters University is similar in that it’s not directly advertising the upcoming film, but it sure is getting you fired up for it.

This could be fun if it’s not just one long car chase. The trailer is certainly emphasizing all the car chasing, and I don’t mind a little of that as long as it’s not the whole film.

A recently paroled man unwittingly picks up the wrong vehicle, having just got off a long haul flight. He soon realizes that he is the target of an entire police force that will use any means necessary to stop him and the tied-up female “passenger” he discovers in the trunk, from getting to the courthouse to testify against top-to-bottom corruption.

Well, it looks like this movie is on it’s way to the box office, despite my better judgement. I expect this film to be really horrible, but they are certainly pushing it. I’ve seen the trailer in front of several movies this year, and now they’ve released the first four minutes and I have it here for you in case you need a morning dose of stupid.

Having quietly stolen the show in Thor with his conniving villainy, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki was a worthy adversary for the Avengers in their big-screen debut earlier this year.

However, despite the character’s undoubted charisma and boo-hiss nature, Hiddleston thinks it unlikely that he’ll be returning to the Avengers sequel in 2015.

I remember that Last Stand ended with Magneto discovering that he hadn’t completely lost his powers. I guess Wolverine would be shattered after having to kill Jean Grey/Phoenix, so I suppose the new movie will see him doing some soul searching in Japan.

Here’s the first TV Spot for A Good Day to Die Hard, staring, of course, Bruce Willis. Also returning is Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Lucy McClane. And relative newcomer Jai Courtney plays John McClane’s son Jack. IMDb also lists Patric Stewart as rumored to be in the film as well, which should be interesting.

Yep, that’s Ellen McLain lending a perfectly replicated GLaDOS voice to the computer systems of Pacific Rim’s mega mechs. Someone—perhaps even del Toro himself—on the film crew is an avid Portal fan and decided McLain’s modulated tones jives perfectly with punching giant beasts in the face. Considering everyone’s favorite evil AI wouldn’t ever get caught actually helping humans, that’s an impressive feat.
