New ‘Agents of SHIELD’ Trailer - “They’re That Good”

New ‘Agents of SHIELD’ Trailer - “They’re That Good”

Agents of SHIELD is one of the more exciting things to come to television in a while, and I am greatly looking forward to it. Of course, as such, I’m eating up everything they put out — and sharing it with you all because that’s the way I am.

And apparently Agent Coulson thinks his team is good enough that he’s willing to give up having over 100 men at his disposal.

Check it out.

A New ‘Gravity’ Trailer

A New ‘Gravity’ Trailer

It’s going to be an intense film, that’s for sure. At least according to this trialer. Frankly I have no idea where exactly this film can go with this plot and how long it can maintain the intensity. Can we really spend two hours with Sandra Bullock floating around helplessly in space? We’ll see soon enough because this film will come out on October 4th. I think it might be good but it has some hurdles to overcome for sure.

Batman Needs a Love Interest or Something

But with a new superhero comes a new female lead. By now everyone knows Ben Affleckwill be playing Batman in the film, and the latest reports suggest the director is looking for a strong female love interest for the Caped Crusader.

Latino Review got their hands on a casting breakdown that’s circulating at the talent agencies, which they describe as follows:

They’re looking for someone in their late 20s and are open to all ethnicities…. They’re being very specific and looking for an actress who is both tall and possesses physicality.

This cannot end well…

I don’t think I’m really all that interested in this film, but it does have Ben Affleck in it, and I’ve liked him in what I’ve seen him in. On the other hand, he did just agree to be Batman in a film I’m pretty sure I’m going to hate. And I’m pretty sure he’s the wrong choice to play Batman. But that’s neither here nor there. This film doesn’t look awesome, but who knows, maybe it will be okay.

Paul Greengrass Says No Bourne In His Future

Paul Greengrass Says No Bourne In His Future
Drew Taylor - The Playlist

Well, that was quick: just days after rumors circulated that director Paul Greengrass (who helmed the critically acclaimed blockbuster ‘Bourne’ installments “The Bourne Supremacy” and “Bourne Ultimatum”) and original series star Matt Damon (who starred in the first three movies) were being courted by Universal for a return to the franchise, the director definitively shoots down the rumors. “It’s a figment of someone’s imagination,” the director told Empire. At least Jeremy Renner can breathe easier.

When Empire asked Greengrass about the rumors of his return he said, “I’ve absolutely no…

Simon Pegg Pranks the ‘Into Darkness’ Cast

Simon Pegg Pranks the ‘Into Darkness’ Cast

Worried about Neutron radiation? Don’t worry, Simon Pegg has a cream for that so that the cast would not get radiation poisoning on the set.

Working on a film is a lot more hard work that many of us might think about and sometimes, the actors just have to have a little bit of fun. Well, this one is fun.

Closed Circuit (2013) — Review

Closed Circuit (2013)

Everything is being recorded. Someone is always watching. You’re always under surveillance. You are just a pawn. Yada, yada, yada.

That’s what this film attempts to portray to you. That is what this film attempts to sell you on. The only problem is that it has this premise but then doesn’t quite know what to do with it. It’s sort of like a dog that chases a car: I’m sure the dog has no plans for what happens if he ever caught it. And that’s not unlike what’s going on here. They have this premise that they caught — they latched onto it and they have no idea what to do with it.

But let’s not…

The Making of an Honest Trailer

The Making of an Honest Trailer

Ever wonder how the Honest Trailers are made behind the scenes? Well wonder no more! This Screen Junkies episode will take you behind the scenes to see how all the magic happens. And finally, they also explain along the way what happened to the first, and in my opinion, better voice (at least I thought it was better for the application here).

Anyway, I thought this was pretty fun.

Alright, fine, I have something to say about the Miley VMA Thing

Alright, fine, I have something to say about the Miley VMA Thing

In fact, I could really boil my thoughts on this whole thing down to one word: debauched. Miley has been on a quest for a while to shed her Disney girl image and let’s just say that she has succeeded. What I don’t understand is why would you want to be remembered as the disgusting and perverted girl? Well, in case anyone did before, I don’t think anyone now will every look at her is a good clean girl again.

And Miley has something to say about it. She says:

Madonna’s done it. Britney’s done it. Every VMA performance, that’s what you’re looking for; you’re wanting to make history,

Yeah,…
