Just in time for the home video release! The question has to be asked, “Are we really sure we don’t want to put a colon in there?” Personally I never had any problem with the colons and I’m sure that this title needs one. But other than that, I felt like this trailer was a wee bit harsh on what I consider to be one of the better Star Trek films. Even so, I really enjoy these things, and this was no exception.

Not to completely spoil this for you, but I will just say that my favorite line is, “The Enterprise survives more hits than it took in the entire original series…” Pretty much. Enjoy!

Sex, drugs and violence. There’s going to be lots and lots of violence in this film methinks. And they’re definitely putting a little sex in this trailer, though if my past experience is any indication, virtually all of it is in the trailer (I hope that’s the case).

The film is written by Cormac McCarthy who penned No Country For Old Men for the Coen Brothers. And of course it is helmed by sometimes esteemed directory Ridley Scott who has directed a few hits here and there.

Words are failing me, and any of you who know me, that’s quite a feat. This film apparently features a town under attack from flesh-eating squirrels after a natural gas company buys up a town and destroys their food chain through environmental destruction. Yeah, it really does look bad. See for yourself.

When Disney first announced that it had purchased Lucasfilm and was planning a new trilogy of Star Wars movies, the release date for the first film was penciled in for 2015.  While an official release date has yet to be announced, Disney President Alan Horn confirmed that Episode VII will hit theaters in 2015 when speaking at the studio’s recent D23 convention.  Many have assumed that a May 2015 release date is the most likely, since all six previous Star Wars films were released in May, but now a new report has surfaced claiming that Disney is actually eyeing a different release date…

Darth Vader actor Dave Prowse recently let loose on his feelings about George Lucas’ prequels and like many of us, he was kinda bummed out when he saw them. “I didn’t like ‘Star Wars’ I, II and III at all. I think the common opinion now is they were really bad movies,” he told Hull Daily Mail, adding: “There’s no comparison with the original movies. They had a much more believable story.”

Secrecy Sensei J.J. Abrams has dropped a teaser for… something… on the Bad Robot YouTube channel. Your guess is as good as mine as to what this teaser might actually be for. Some have speculated perhaps it has something to do with Star Wars: Episode VII, but I have to wonder what those people are smoking.

I’m going to go with something new that we haven’t heard about yet, but who knows for sure. The music sure sounds a bit Lost-ish. What do you guys think?
