As we predicted earlier in the week, Taken 2’s extraordinarily strong performance at the box office has convinced Fox executives that there’s life in the franchise yet, with writer Robert Mark Kamen suggesting that a third film is moving forward.

Indeed, Kamen doesn’t make any bones about the motivation behind another sequel, admitting that the second film’s $100m global opening made everybody think twice.

Reading on, apparently Neeson isn’t sure he’s onboard. And honestly, I don’t have a lot of hope for a third film. I with they would just leave the franchise be now.

Here’s our first taste of the upcoming film Wreck-it Ralph. In this clip we meet John C. Reilly’s Ralph, and Sarah Silverman’s Vanellope von Schweetz as Ralph tries to tell the somewhat annoying Vanellope that he’s from the candy tree department.

Fox is going all the way with The Mindy Project, picking up the freshman comedy for a full 22-episode season.

Additionally, the network has ordered six additional episodes of fellow rookie Ben and Kate, bringing that sitcom’s Season 1 haul to 19.

Oh, I get the strategy now, Fox is canceling all the good shows and picking up really awful shows instead.
