Continuing its quest to sate subscribers’ appetites with a flow of original content, Netflix has announced a new original series, Sense8. Due in late 2014, it’s being developed by the Wachowskis of The Matrix, V for Vendetta, Cloud Atlas and Speed Racer fame, as well as J. Michael Straczynski, creator of Babylon 5. Details are thin, but the press release promises a gripping global tale of minds linked and souls hunted with a ten episode run for its first season.

Hmm, I don’t know. It has some actors that I love, but it looks like a pretty dark show. I may (or may not) give this one a chance. I’m sure the trailer is playing it up a bit.

Well, Whedon isn’t spilling all the details, but he has since clarified one major piece of information. Coulson really and truly is back on the team in S.H.I.E.L.D., though we don’t know how quite yet. Hit the jump to keep reading.

Warning, of course there may be some spoilers here, although I think everyone knew that the first minute of the mid-season premiere, picking up from were we left off in the cliffhanger mid-season finale, would work out pretty much this way. But it does leave us with yet another cliff hanger.

Anyway, I’m calling safe to watch, even if you are avoiding spoilers. But some people may not agree.

Hannibal is not really my thing. I watched a couple of the Anthony Hopkins installments, didn’t really like them. But I figured it was my duty to do so.

Now cometh a TV show about Hannibal Lecter. I’m not at all certain it is my duty to watch this one. But if Hannibal is your thing, feel free to go right ahead and watch it when it comes out.
