Well it’s not particularly reassuring that fearless Miles is scared by this Sgt. Strausser guy. Miles has been up against a lot and has never been afraid before. So this should be interesting.
Be aware that there are many SPOILERS here for Fringe Season 5, Episode 5, An Origin Story.
Last week we saw some pretty heavy stuff, and we saw Peter doing some very questionable things, morally speaking. His daughter was killed and he is out for blood now.
Joshua Jackson, Anna Torv, and John Noble talk Peter Bisop in this video from Fox.
I have to tell you, I was a big fan of Battlestar Galactica for like three seasons. And I even enjoyed season 4 to some extent, though I didn’t know where they were going with Starbuck and things like that.
And then the biggest disappointment of all is the way the series ended. It was all for nought, none of it mattered. I swore I would never watch BSG or related things again. I deleted the entire series from my iTunes library.
That said, I’m warming up to the idea of pretending that last 20 minutes of that last episode just didn’t happen. As such I have had a bit of a desire to at…
Read The RestMy wife is the one who like Les Mis, I know very little about it actually. And I’m not a huge fan of musicals — some are more tolerable than others. But this film really looks fantastic from the trailers. Looks like some great cinematography, and it’s certainly loaded with talent. But the music — the music even just from viewing the trailer is very moving.
I’m a huge fan of film scores and I love observing how they affect the viewer and create mood, and I love being affected by film score when it’s done in appropriate ways, so this is something I am very curious to see.
Here’s the…
Read The RestIf, like me, you can’t get enough of the Star Trek: The Next Generation remastered stuff, here’s a trailer of the Season 2 Theater event that will whet your appetite.
In case you missed it, the Season 2 theater event will feature the screening of Q Who, and The Measure of a Man. You can find out if there is a theater showing the event near you here.
Well, here’s a gem. It’s a little hard to understand, and watch for that matter: poor quality VHS captured digitally from the looks of it. But it’s fun none the less. Hamill had some information and ideas about the sequels even then. Given where Lucas has gone, and that he’s only minimally involved now who knows how much has changed and what will or won’t happen.
Still, the geek in me rejoiced to find this.
I haven’ t posted about Rise of the Guardians yet because I’m just not sure whether it’s going to be any good. But that said, I can’t keep ignoring it. So, here’s some stuff about it.
Synopsis:
Read The RestRise of the Guardians is an epic and magical adventure that tells the story of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman, and Jack Frost – legendary characters with previously unknown extraordinary abilities. When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of…
We’re referring, of course, to the show’s suddenly single shrink Sweets, whose break-up with Daisy left him essentially homeless. Enter Booth, who invites him to crash at Casa de B&B.
The catch? He never vetted the new houseguest with his significant other!
I am a long time fan, but I’m experiencing some serious frustration with this show right now. Why are we messing with the relationships? Why did Sweets break up with Daisy, again? What are these stupid rumors of breaking up the beloved Hodgins and Angela? Grrr. TV Shows.
