This morning I read one of those movie reviews that gives me an upset stomach; a review so pathetically ridiculous that it warrants criticism for its misleading tropes and arrogant close-mindedness.

Another weekend has passed, films have been watched, box office reports are in, totals have been tallied. Let’s see what story they tell.

#1 Oblivion

$38.1 Million Domestic / $112 Million Foreign = $150.1 Million Worldwide Total

Winning the top spot on it’s first weekend outing, Oblivion slides in to home plate with a weekend domestic gross of $38.1 Million. That may be decent, but it’s not knocking your socks off for a $120 Million budget, however foreign charts or through the roof pushing the worldwide total to $150.1 Million. That already pushes the film above it’s production…

This clip may not offer us much, but there’s a little something for us here to keep helping us get our fix of Iron Man before he hits the theaters on May 3rd.

Check out this new TV spot for Star Trek Into Darkness that actually has a couple of shots and some dialog that we have not seen or heard before. Given how much they put in the final theatrical trailer, that’s saying something. I didn’t think we would get any new bits or anything really new at all before the film came out at this point.

Be it a movie or television series spin-off, Atwell would love a chance to play Peggy once more and to flesh out her character.

They were joined by award winning Norwegian singer Susanne Sundfør. I enjoyed watching this performance immensely. It’s an amazing performance from an amazing soundtrack.

Iron Man 3 hits the theaters on May 3rd, but if you are like the rest of us and are looking for just about anything you can get your hands on in anticipation of this film, then you will want to check out this 6 minute long behind the scenes video. As far as I can tell there aren’t any spoilers or anything like that. Everything appears to be either non-important, or things we already know.
