Even after all this time, “Not only is there a want from fans, but there’s a want from Joss [Whedon], and from Nathan [Fillion], certainly, and the cast,” Tudyk confirms.

But even if there is a will, is there actually a way? Talking more logistically about how it could actually work, Tudyk points to Arrested Development as an example of how the show could be brought back. “This was taken off the air right about the same time that we were,” he says, “and that was a show that was on Fox, with a bunch of people who have gone on to do many other things, and they’re getting them back together…

Bruce Willis Talks ‘Die Hard 6’, Opposed to Gun Control

Bruce Willis Talks ‘Die Hard 6’, Opposed to Gun Control
The Playlist

So the fifth entry in the wheezing “Die Hard” franchise comes out in just over a week, and surprisingly, it’s taken this long for the inevitable talk about a sixth entry to crop up. But with Bruce Willis on the press trail, the question has been asked, and the answer from the actor is simple: “Yes.”

I’ll wait to say for sure until I have seen Die Hard 5, but I think this is probably good.

But post-Sandy Hook and Aurora, the question of violence in media and gun control is one that increasingly comes up in press rounds and Willis has weighed in on the touchy subject of gun control.…

‘Portal’ and ‘Half-Life’ Films by JJ Abrams?

‘Portal’ and ‘Half-Life’ Films by JJ Abrams?
/Film

While Star Wars continues to dominate much of the conversation about big-ticket sci-fi film, the outcome of the DICE keynote talk between filmmaker J.J. Abrams and game-master Gabe Newell of Valve Software was even more stunning: the two are likely to collaborate to make games and movies. The stated movie interests are adaptations of popular Valve games Portal and Half-Life.

“We’re making a Half-Life movie” is not quite what they said, but the door was certainly left open to Bad Robot and Valve collaborating on projects. And reading between the lines and taking a few other tips into…

Get in on the action! And don’t forget to share with your…

‘Skyfall’ Honest Trailer

‘Skyfall’ Honest Trailer

Buckle up and prepare to laugh your socks off.

“The Super Secret MI6 agent who everyone knows by his real name”

“...the most secluded corner fo the globe… that conveniently has CNN in english”

And my favorite:

“...and ending so goofy, they just ripped it off from Home Alone

Hahahahahahahaha! Watch the trailer, it’s awesome!

‘The Avengers’ Firefly Style (Shiny!)

‘The Avengers’ Firefly Style (Shiny!)

This is just… wrong. The countryish, Americana Firefly them just doesn’t really work as a backdrop for these Avengers. And yet somehow, I want this show so much! Joss, can we go ahead and just order up this show? It’d be lots of fun. What studio executives do I need to call to make this happen? Just say the word. Thanks, we’ll be looking forward to it.

Favorite Fun Futon Films for February

Alright guys, I know we said we were going to talk about The Wrath of Kahn on this week’s episode of The MovieByte Podcast, but we’re changing it up a little. From my conversations with Joe, I am not at all convinced that I will be satisfied with an episode talking about that film with only Joe and myself.

I am trying to lock down a guest that I think may help me out a little for such an awesome film and once I have him we’ll do a Wrath of Kahn episode then. It will probably be a special insert episode and will broadcast live at a different time so keep your eyes open for that.

‘Iron Man 3’ “Extended” Look

‘Iron Man 3’ “Extended” Look

Hahahahahahahahaha!

Actually, as funny as this is, there is some good stuff here to see. I’m excited for this film, I think it will be better than the shambles that was Iron Man 2. I’m thinking there’s actually a good story to tell here with Tony Stark and the emotional aftermath of the events from The Avengers. The thing about Iron Man is that he started off as not so great of a guy, and that gives him a lot of places to go, to grow. It makes for great story.

Here’s your “extended” look:
