‘Les Mis’ Blu-ray Release Date
Entertainment Weekly

Fans of the musical flocked to theaters to watch Hugh Jackman’s heroic Valjean joust with Russell Crowe’s devious Javert, to see Hathaway sing the heartbreaking “I Dreamed a Dream,” and to vicariously stand atop the barricades on the eve of France’s 1832 revolution. On March 22, the experience comes home when Les Misérables arrives on Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand.

There you go, March 22nd. If you click through to Entertainment Weekly, there’s also a trailer for the upcoming Blu-ray release that they have restricted so I can’t embed it here and I can’t find it anywhere else at the…

Video On Demand - Feb 5, 2013

Three notable new releases to streaming and video on demand that you might be interested in watching:

Skyfall

Not the great film that critics seem to rave about, but it’s a fine film and worth watching. It has great cinematography, great acting and character development, and more. And even though I was a bit disappointed in Silva, he’s still a good villain. So the film is worth watching. Read my review here. I gave it 3.5 of 5 stars.

Bane Blows Up Football Stadium

Bane Blows Up Football Stadium

Here’s another behind the scenes video from the upcoming Blu-ray release of The Dark Knight Rises talking about the scene where Bane blows up a football stadium.

Personally, more than the special features, I can’t wait to sit down and watch all three films back to back… okay, maybe not in one sitting or anything, but perhaps 3 nights.

Here’s the special feature:

Jane Foster Beams Message to Thor - Deleted Scene

Jane Foster Beams Message to Thor - Deleted Scene

Did you wonder what Jane Foster was smiling about at the end of Thor just before the cut to the end credits? Well this deleted scene will show you just what she was happy about as she shoots some sort of sci-fi looking beam of light in Thor’s direction.

This is a leak from he Marvel “Phase One” box set which will no doubt include other copious deleted scenes, and it is also known to contant a sneak peek at the upcoming “Phase Two” films such as Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, and The Avengers 2.

You can pre-order this box-set on…

Adding to the exclusivity and collectability of the Blu-ray release is an HD, “Extended Cut” of “The Measure of a Man,” this includes deleted scenes and different angles from the broadcast version. The original version of the episode is included, as well as a “Hybrid Extended Cut,” combining the high-definition on-air version of “The Measure of a Man” with video of the extra material taken from an early VHS rough-cut of the episode that was in the writer’s (Melinda Snodgrass) archives.

This is awesome! Despite the fact that Seasons 1 and 2 turned out some real trash, The Measure of a…

Universal will announce today that The Bourne Legacy is coming to DVD, Blu-ray Combo Pack, On Demand, and digital download December 11, 2012. I have no intention of putting this horrible film in…
