‘Star Trek: Enterprise’ Season 3 Blu-ray Trailer

‘Star Trek: Enterprise’ Season 3 Blu-ray Trailer

Yeah, yeah, I know Enterprise was not as great as most of the rest of the Star Trek franchise, but it actually got quite good in seaons 3 and 4, to the point that I was sad when it was canceled. Hate on me all you want, but season 3 is some pretty good Star Trek. It may not ever have soared to the height of drama brought to us by Captain Sisko during the dominion war. And it may not have delighted the way TNG did in its hay day, but it was better than some of the stuff we have on TV these days. And season 3 really pulled me into the show in a way that seasons 1 and 2 failed to do. And I…

‘Iron Man 3’ Comes to iTunes

‘Iron Man 3’ Comes to iTunes
Rene Ritchie - iMore

Iron Man 3, the Shane Black-directed sequel to last year’s phenomenal Avengers movie, is now available on iTunes and comes complete with iTunes Extras. What’s more, a JARVIS app is coming next week for iPhone as well. Jarvis was originally Tony Stark’s - very human - butler. When Marvel made the Iron Man movie, however, they re-imagined JARVIS as an artificially intelligent computer system to run Tony’s house, and eventually his armor. Think Super Siri.

Head on over and grab it, guys! This was one of the better movies this year so far.

Where are the ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Bonus Features?

Where are the ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Bonus Features?
Matt Wright - TrekMovie.com

When the details of the Star Trek Into Darkness Blu-ray discs were released last month, there was a big fan outcry wondering what happened to a fully loaded version with extras, like we got with Star Trek (2009)? The DVD version fared even worse, being a totally barebones release. Friend of TrekMovie, Bill Hunt from The Digital Bits, has that answer. It turns out that a plethora of bonus features do exist… it’s just that Paramount doesn’t want them all in one place. They are being used for retailer and digital download vendor exclusives.

Oh yeah, that’s a great way to do business: make…

DON’T MISS! All 8 ‘Harry Potter’ Films in HD for $10.00!!!

UPDATED:

The price has jumped up to $60. I wondered… it surely seemed almost like a mistake. I guess it really was. I clicked purchase on mine 20 minutes before the price went up to $60. I’m going to be really upset if Apple actually charges me $60 and not $10. We’ll find out soon enough.

DON’T MISS! All 8 ‘Harry Potter’ Films in HD for $10.00!!!
Apple iTunes

Guys, this seems just a little bit crazy, but right now you can purchase all eight Harry Potter films in HD from the iTunes store for $10.00. No, I’m not kidding, this does not appear to be a joke. Since I only had them in Standard Definition on DVD, I purchased this bundle for $10.00 and it is legit. All eight films are now available in my iTunes account.

This is just too good to be true. I almost wonder if it’s some sort of glitch. In case it is, if you want it you better act now! I know I’ll be enjoying some Harry Potter HD goodness from the comfort of my Apple TV sometime soon!

‘The Hobbit’ Deleted Scene - Extended Edition Blu-ray

‘The Hobbit’ Deleted Scene - Extended Edition Blu-ray

Man, I’m telling you, we saw the extended edition already, that was the one in the theater. I’m not sure what else there is to put on the Blu-ray to make it extended. But apparently Peter Jackson kept some stuff in reserve. I think the guy should get someone to help him actually edit stuff out next time, but anyway…

Warner Bros. is saying that there will be 13 more minutes of film on this upcoming Blu-ray release, and NINE HOURSE OF BONUS FEATURES. Holy cow! You Tolkien nerds and The Hobbit fans should be pleased.

So here’s just an appetite wheter:

Bloodier and Unrated Cut of ‘The Wolverine’ On DVD/Blu-ray

Bloodier and Unrated Cut of ‘The Wolverine’ On DVD/Blu-ray
Angie Han - /Film

Though the comic book world can be a very dark place, what with all those evil supervillains and bloody battles and heroic deaths and whatnot, a comic book movie director can only show so much of that stuff without risking the film’s commercial prospects. Mainstream superhero tales will push the constraints of the PG-13 rating as far as they’ll stretch, but it’s very rare that they’ll actually break through them.

But hey, that’s what unrated director’s cuts are for. In the case of The WolverineJames Mangold states that while he’s “very happy” with the theatrical cut, he has plans to…

‘Pacific Rim’ - No Director’s Cut, But There Were 3 Endings

‘Pacific Rim’ - No Director’s Cut, But There Were 3 Endings
Kevin Jagernauth - The Playlist

As Del Toro tells Badass Digest, he filmed three different scenarios for the concluding moments with Charlie Hunnam and Rinko Kikuchi. “When I was working on the movie we had three or four different versions of the relationship between Charlie and Rinko because I wanted to see if I could make a story about two people liking each other without having to end in a kiss,” he explained. “So when I shot the ending we shot three versions. I’ve never done this before, but instinctively I thought we should do three versions. We did one version where they kiss and it almost felt weird. They’re good…

‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Home Video Release Dates
Matt Wright - TrekMovie.com

The dates for the U.S. home video release of JJ Abrams’ Star Trek Into Darkness have been announcedIt comes earlier than expected. Paramount is also trying something other studios have been toying with in the last year or so by offering an earlier release date of August 20, 2013 for the digital download version, compared to the physical disc releases that come a few weeks later on September 10 , 2013.

Awesome! I will, of course, be downloading this via iTunes the instant this becomes available! And I love that they are doing the digital release first.

Also, here’s a clip from Yahoo!…

Last week, images of this set leaked and we asked the question ”Is This The ‘Dark Knight’ Trilogy Ultimate Collectors Edition Blu-ray Box Set?” The answer turns out to be…kind of.
