‘Bones’ Renewed for 9th Season
Entertainment Weekly

Most expected this to happen. But it’s never real until it’s real. And now it’s real.

Fox is bringing back its longest-running drama for a ninth season.

Bones will be return for another round, the network announced Tuesday. “After more than 150 episodes, Bones continues to be one of television’s most dynamic and consistent dramas,” said Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly. “We at Fox, along with millions of zealous fans, look forward to seeing where the incredible creative team takes the series next season.”

Well that’s annoying. This show is WAY past it’s prime, and very…

Soap Operas Relaunch With Online Network

Soap Operas Relaunch With Online Network
TV Line

You’re not dreaming, brainwashed by Mitch Lawrence or doped up on Libidozone: All My Children and One Life to Live shall return.

Breaking its silence after weeks of rumors and leaks, Prospect Park on Monday formally announced their latest — and firmed-up — plan to relaunch the defunct ABC sudsers, which will both base production out of New York City-adjacent-ish studios in Stamford, Conn.

Oh. My. Word. Please tell me this is some nightmare where Soap Operas survive in the transition to on-demand and online media distribution. This is right up there with the idea of hell-fire torment.…

Ruthless and cunning, Congressman Francis Underwood (Oscar® winner Kevin Spacey) and his wife Claire (Robin Wright) stop at nothing to conquer everything. This wicked political drama penetrates the shadowy world of greed, sex, and corruption in modern D.C. Kate Mara (“American Horror Story”) and Corey Stoll (“Midnight in Paris”) costar in the first original series from David Fincher (“The Social Network”) and Beau Willimon (“The Ides of March”).

Well, it appears Netflix has wised up a little bit. You might remember when I initially posted about the new Netflix exclusive TV Series House…

Interview with Ming Na About ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’

Interview with Ming Na About ‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’

Ming-Na Wen Talks the new S.H.I.E.L.D. televisions show, The Avengers director Joss Whedon, the Marvel Universe and about how the show will not stick with normal comic canon with AMC Theatres.

Fun stuff. Still really looking forward to this show. Joss Whedon rarely disappoints! And though I know this may be blasphemy to some, I’m glad to hear they won’t be sticking too closely to any comics. The best comic adaptations to the screen have strayed pretty far. I think it’s because the comic book format just doesn’t translate well to the screen.

‘Fringe’ Preview for Tonight’s Episode

‘Fringe’ Preview for Tonight’s Episode

I’ve got one more thing for you today. This is a preview for tonight’s episode of Fringe.

With The Hobbit being just freshly out in theaters, I wonder how many people will actually be tuning in tonight. I doubt I’ll be able to watch it this weekend at all. I’ll be seeing The Hobbit twice, once with friends at a standard showing. Then I’m driving way up yonder in Nashville to see it in HFR 3D IMAX tomorrow night. But I digress…

Here’s the Fringe clip.

‘Nobel Intentions: Five-Twenty-Ten’

‘Nobel Intentions: Five-Twenty-Ten’

There’s a lot of interesting things going on this season, from Peter almost losing himself by putting Observer tech in his head, to losing Etta, to Walter having his full brain capacity back.

Very happy with the season so far. We only have a very few more episodes left and I’m eager to see how they wrap it up.

Matt Webb Mitovich - TV Line

The cast and producers of Fox’s Fringe gathered at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver on Saturday night to celebrate the Warner Bros. TV series’ 100th — and final — episode. And now we have a title for that ultimate hour.

“It is called ‘An Enemy of Fate,’” series boss J.H. Wyman shared with TVLine on the red carpet.

...

“It’s definitely the biggest season finale we’ve ever had,” Wyman promised. “It’s the most expensive…. It’s massive, really big. I wanted to go out like, ‘Wow, how did they do that?’”

Fringe begins it’s final run on December 7. This gives me a mixture of…
