The USA Network series unspools the final eight episodes of Season 6 starting this Thursday at 9/8c, with a double-header. When last we tuned in, Michael — stranded in Panama with Sam, Fi, Jesse and sketchy sniper Tyler Gray (played by Kenny Johnson) — had just gleaned that his CIA mentor, Tom Card (John C. I have to tell you, I was a big fan of Battlestar Galactica for like three seasons. And I even enjoyed season 4 to some extent, though I didn’t know where they were going with Starbuck and things like that.

And then the biggest disappointment of all is the way the series ended. It was all for nought, none of it mattered. I swore I would never watch BSG or related things again. I deleted the entire series from my iTunes library.

The “S.H.I.E.L.D.” series is moving along with fan favorite Clark Gregg back in action and TV veteran Ming-Na Wen (“ER” and “SGU Stargate Universe”) recently coming on board, and now there’s a start date on the horizon. According to Variety’s Marc Graser, the Joss Whedon produced series will start shooting in January. We presume that this means it will be aimed as an addition to the fall 2013 TV lineup on ABC (owned by Disney).

You can be sure this is one TV show I will be adding to my watch list.

So Revolution’s mystery of the power blackout across the world is starting to unravel. This past Monday, Monroe got pretty serious about getting intel on where the pendants might be. Rachel has already revealed to him that the key to turning the power back on lies in these strange looking devices. No we are finding out that [SPOILER] Rachel and Ben were, at least in part, responsible for the blackout in the first place.

Flashbacks

Flashing back to when Rachel was pregnant with a baby boy (presumably Danny), she and Ben, along with co-worker Grace were attempting to come up with a method…

“We’re talking very seriously about revealing [what caused the blackout] before end of this season,” Kripke tells EW.  The answer is something that’s passed muster from a physicist consulted by the producers. So expect what caused the blackout to be at least somewhat scientifically plausible.

“The sweet spot is to find an answer that’s actually scarier than what you were thinking,” Kripke says. “Like, ‘Oh wait, this is not even just about electricity.’ And that’s what we’re designing. I don’t see any reason to withhold it much longer.”

Fringe fans, clear your calendars: Jan. 18, 2036 2013 is when it all comes to an end.

The Fox drama announced Friday that its final two episodes — one of which is the series’ 100th — will air back-to-back starting at 8/7c on that day.

This is what I look like when I’m sad… This show really deserved at least couple more seaons.

We’re referring, of course, to the show’s suddenly single shrink Sweets, whose break-up with Daisy left him essentially homeless. Enter Booth, who invites him to crash at Casa de B&B.

The catch? He never vetted the new houseguest with his significant other!

I am a long time fan, but I’m experiencing some serious frustration with this show right now. Why are we messing with the relationships? Why did Sweets break up with Daisy, again? What are these stupid rumors of breaking up the beloved Hodgins and Angela? Grrr. TV Shows.

Revolution is definitely in the phase where they are showing us just how flawed our protagonists are. Aaron left his wife not long after the blackout and even if there was some sort of noble intention of doing that, you just don’t leave your wife! Charlie nearly killed someone because she thought her and her friends (not to mention brother) were more important than anything else. We found out a few episodes ago that Miles was the big head honcho of the Monroe Militia in years gone by and was one of the reasons such a corrupt organization was founded, not a kind or caring group, in fact they…

Adding to the exclusivity and collectability of the Blu-ray release is an HD, “Extended Cut” of “The Measure of a Man,” this includes deleted scenes and different angles from the broadcast version. The original version of the episode is included, as well as a “Hybrid Extended Cut,” combining the high-definition on-air version of “The Measure of a Man” with video of the extra material taken from an early VHS rough-cut of the episode that was in the writer’s (Melinda Snodgrass) archives.
