With yesterday’s reveal of the new Star Trek Into Darkness poster there were also updates to official Star Trek Facebook pages around the world, generally showing off the new poster. However the official French Facebook page also made mention of a new trailer coming online on December 6th. TrekMovie has confirmed this is true and that a teaser trailer of about a minute or so in length will debut online on December 6th, and will be available to download worldwide.

Yay. Now we have a reason to get up tomorrow!

Looking forward to seeing John McClane in action again? Well the wait isn’t much longer, he’ll be appearing on the big screen Februrary 14, 2013, along with his apparently now CIA involved son. And they meet up in, of all places, Moscow.

It should be a lot of fun.

Nearly 18 months after Megan Ellison pledged over $20 million for the rights to finish The Terminator‘s humanity vs the Skynet cyborgs storyline with a new series of films, she has finally closed the complicated rights deal with Pacificorp. Other than the fact no progress has been made all this time on a script, the surprise here is Ellison has enlisted her brother, David Ellison, to be her financial and creative partner. There is still no studio attached, but futureTerminator films will be done as a co-production between her Annapurna Pictures and his Skydance Productions. The Ellisons…

The first teaser trailers hit back in the summer, and were nothing short of immense. And with the full-length trailer expected to be attached to The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, we’ve now got a brilliant new poster for the epic blockbuster.

With two trailers that I’m really looking forward to — this being one of them — debuting in front of The Hobbit, and of course the attraction of The Hobbit itself, I’m sorely tempted to do the midnight premier thing (won’t that be a zoo?).

Anyway, what’s with these crazy cuffs? Who puts the Man of Steel in cuffs? Can’t he just snap them. What on…

Well look at me getting right on top of the news. We’ve got a clip from the upcoming Jack Reacher film. It’s good stuff. This film is going to be awesome. I hope I’m not getting my hopes up too high for it.

Still months away from its debut, and we’re learning more and more about Star Trek Into Darkness. Last week, Paramount released the official synopsis for the film, and now we have the first official teaser poster as well. Although we’ve been told that Into Darkness won’t be a rehash of The Dark Knight, the influence of the dark Batman franchise seems strong in the new poster.

Batman influence? Seriously? This is more than influence, this is a rip-off and it’s really annoying to me. What is happening to my beloved Star Trek franchise?

We’re in the home stretch for the Les Mis promotion campaign now. Here are five recently released clips from the upcoming film — the biggest taste we have had so far.

I don’t know if a full on music production is going to be my thing or not, but my wife is a big fan and she’s super excited to see it in theater this Christmas. And I’m certainly looking forward to seeing it as well in any event.

Jack Reacher, the upcoming film adaptation of the book by Lee Child starring Tom Cruise, is coming to theaters December 21. That’s less than a month away. As such we can expect to start seeing a lot of stuff like this.

I’m excited about this film so I’ll be keeping my eyes open for more.
