Pixar turned its table lamp on its voice actors for the upcoming films The Good Dinosaur and Inside Out at the Disney fan convention D23.

The equivalent of Disney’s Comic-Con brought new revelations about the plots for the upcoming movies, which feature a dinosaur keeping a toddler human as a pet, a journey inside the workings of the human mind, and a return to the ocean for a sequel to a Pixar classic.

Disney animation czar John Lasseter also showed off footage from the films, and presided over a parade of voice talent.

While we all speculate on who will play the next Batman/Bruce Wayne, there’s one other character that is said to appear in Zack Snyder’s follow up to MAN OF STEEL, the untitled SUPERMAN/BATMAN film, and that’s Lex Luthor. Portrayed by Gene Hackman in the early Donner films and then by Kevin Spacey in Bryan Singer’s SUPERMAN RETURNS, the door is now open to bring in some fresh, bald blood and two names are popping up on the radar of late. Ridley Scott seems to be somewhat legendary, and he did make the likes of Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator, and Robin Hood to name a couple. That is why I’m interested in this film, although it does look pretty heavy and intense, and I’m not yet quite sure what it’s about exactly. But I’ll be keeping my eye on it.

The film stars Michael Fassbender, Javier Bardem, Brad Pitt, Penelope Cruz, and Cameron Diaz, and it will hit theaters on October 25^th.

Definitely put me down in the interested camp for this film. It’s based on a true story, and it looks like Tom Hanks does a marvelous job!

Of course this trailer defnitely ups the action and the craziness a little bit, but it’s still looks like a film that’s low on CGI and much higher on story.

It opens in theaters on October 11^th. Can’t wait to see it!

Okay, so, raise your hand if you think this looks really weird…

Surely I can’t be the only one. I guess you could say the film is set in the future and is about a man that falls in love with his artificial intelligence OS. But I can’t even begin to describe it so you should just watch it. The film stars Joaquin Phoenix, Chris Pratt, Amy Adams, Rooney Mara, Olivia Wilde and (the voice of) Scarlett Johansson.

It looks like Clary Fray (Lily Collins) is in for a rude awakening about the world around her in this 5 minute clip of a kitchen brawel with a demon from the upcoming The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. I’m hoping this film is going to be good. The action is certainly intense, and it’s looking like they are doing some human drama and relationship building so I have somewhat high hopes for this film.

We’ll get to see it on August 21^st.

So it seems like Loki is going to play a pretty big part in this film. And Jane’s life is still in question, but Thor promises he’s going to find a way to save us all!

I didn’t think the first Thor film was that great, but I’m really looking forward to this one, it looks like it should be excellent. This will be the second installment in the Marvel, Phase Two story (the first was Iron Man 3) and it’s all leading up, of course, to The Avengers: The Age of Ultron, which I couldn’t be more excited about. This is a good time for Marvel!

We’ve heard Paul Ruebens talk about a new Pee-Wee Herman movie for years. There’s long been a script that he’s been writing and rewriting (with Paul Rust) under the watchful eye of producer Judd Apatow. But it’s been quite a while since we’ve heard anything real — years, in fact. With Ruebens doing press for The Smurfs 2, however, the actor is saying that Pee-Wee should be back in force in 2014.

Speaking to the LA Times, Reubens confided that a director has been chosen for the new Pee-Wee movie and that the script and financing are in place.

So, this Kruger guy looks a little nuts, right? He sure sounds strange, what kind of accent is that anyway.

I will say if you are avoiding spoilers, I think these clips and featurettes cross the line and you probably don’t want to watch them. I just don’t trust studios to keep spoilers out of our hands these days.
