Star Wars Expose - Luke’s Change: An Inside Job

Star Wars Expose - Luke’s Change: An Inside Job

A documentary expose on why the destruction of the Death Star may have been an inside job. This is completely and absolutely hilarious and so well made. You guys into conspiracy theories may hate this, because it’s kind of making fun of you. But you should get over yourselves and enjoy this because it’s REALLY good. And in my opinion, this is about exactly how these conspiracy theories and exposes work.

A lot of people in the comments on the YouTube video page are going crazy about messing up facts (such as saying Wedge Antilles said, or pronouncing Alderaan, Alderbran), but I think it…

‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ Featurette

‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ Featurette

So, we’re less than two weeks away from the release of the greatest movie of the year!!! Oh, you don’t think so? Well, I might be exaggerating just a bit.

but it probably will be fun at least. This new featurette shows us a little bit of images and scenes we haven’t yet seen, featuring Channing Tatum and Dwayne Johnson. The upcoming film also stars Bruce Willis so we’ll at least have some decent humor (hopefully).

The film opens on March 28th.

3 Clips from ‘The Host’

3 Clips from ‘The Host’

I’m liking the look of this film as a sci-fi thriller and have at least a little hope that it might be fun and entertaining. I haven’t seen anything really off-putting about the film yet. And I do love a good Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

This film is an adaptation of the nove from Stephanie Meyer of the same name. Hopefully that won’t put you off if you are not a big fan of her other work, there are no sparkly vampires to be found here.

Batman in Classic Movie Scenes

Batman in Classic Movie Scenes

There is just something really awesome and really messed up about this all at the same time. If you ever wanted to see Batman in all sorts of classic movie scenes, here is your opportunity.

Oblivion Featurette

Oblivion Featurette

If you want to learn a little more about Oblivion and possibly some spoilers, this featurette looks like it might be your ticket. There’s definitely some new information here and it brings a little clarity to the plot of the film (which is always muddy in trailers).

This featurette includes director Joseph Kosinski and Tom Cruise as well as previously unseen footage from the film.

Jack Harper is one of the last few drone repairmen stationed on Earth. Part of a massive operation to extract vital resources after decades of war with a terrifying threat known as the Scavs, Jack’s mission…

Hoverboard - Short Film

Hoverboard - Short Film

Remember how awesome hoverboards were in Back to the Future: Part II the first time you saw them? I mean, the idea is even still kind of awesome, even if skateboards have long gone out of style.

That draw is what makes this short so fun. If you love Hoverboards, you will love this.

Don’t think about the logic in this short film too much (girl wants hoverboard, can’t make one using common household items, instead builds cardboard time machine, sends teddy bear forward in time to get hoverboard), it’s not about that. Just relax, and enjoy the show.

Weta VFX Reel

Weta VFX Reel

So Weta Workshop has a VFX Reel, and it’s as awesome as you might imagine. Frankly, I’m not sure at this point why Weta needs a reel, everone knows who they are and that they do magnificient VFX work, but I suppose even the best feel the need to showcase their work for the world. And I love that they show some of the modeling and sculpting work that goes into all of it too. It’s not just the CGI, there a lot of other work that goes into their stuff too.

See for yourself.

Joss Whedon Talks ‘Star Wars’

Joss Whedon Talks ‘Star Wars’

Joss Whedon mentioned Star Wars!!!! OMG YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though, wasn’t it in the back of all the fan boys’ minds that it would be fun to see Joss direct a Star Wars film? I mean, he would have been interested if not for his commitments to The Avengers 2.

So recently, Joss talked for about 10 seconds about Star Wars saying that he wouldn’t go back, he’d go forward and he wouldn’t want to have the original characters in the film. So put me in the category that I’m glad he’s not doing it then. Yes, yes, I know. But what I want to see is a send off for the first of…

‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Teaser Trailer #2

‘Star Trek Into Darkness’ Teaser Trailer #2

This is the trailer that I saw attached to Oz the Great and Powerful. I have to admit I’m liking the looks of this film. I still figure it will be more flash and stule and less substance than I care for (my favorite Star Trek film, and even one of my favorite all time films is still Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn), but I think (think) this is going to be better than the previous Star Trek film my J.J. Abrams. It doesn’t really look like I’m going to get my wish for less lens flares thoough. Like I said, J.J. likes to go for the flashy, whiz-bang and his movies are often the worse for it.
