Non-Stop — Review

The one thing you can never do when Liam Neeson is in the film is say that there was no talent brought to bear for whatever film you happen to be watching. Let’s review.

For me, he really came into prominence with Schindler’s List. While I have no intention of watching the film again, or certainly not for a long time, it’s not because the film is not good or because Neeson was not good. Indeed, Neeson’s performance is amazing and the role is well done.

Then he was the only decent Jedi in a completely mixed up alternate universe where the Star Wars prequels were made (I don’t acknowledge…

The Opening Scene from The ‘Veronica Mars’ Movie

The Opening Scene from The ‘Veronica Mars’ Movie

The Veronica Mars movie will be released on March 14th, but if that’s too long for you to wait, we’ve got the opening sequence right here right now for you.

I have finally just finished season 1 of the show and have started on season 2. I like it for the most part and I love the look of this opening sequence. And while I’m looking forward to the film, I really want to get through all the episodes before I see it so I don’t know when I’ll get to see the film.

Here’s the opening sequence.

Rumor: New Matrix Trilogy in the Works

Rumor: New Matrix Trilogy in the Works
Kellvin Chavez — Latino Review

The Wachowski siblings have a very long history over at Warner Bros. but with the exception of the Matrix Trilogy, none of their movies have had great financial success.

Speed Racer/Cloud Atlas tanked and let’s not kid ourselves, by the looks of it, Jupiter Ascending will not be much better.

We’ve been told that the Wachowski’s have already started the writing process with early treatments and outlines already turned into the studio. No word if they will want to direct but my money says “Claro que Si!”.

I have really mixed feelings about this if it’s true. The Matrix is one of the best…

Harrison Ford Begs Agents To Just Let Him Die Now

Harrison Ford Begs Agents To Just Let Him Die Now
The Onion

LOS ANGELES—Saying that “it’s time,” a visibly weary Harrison Ford pleaded with his agents Thursday to simply stop this and let him die, sources confirmed. “Please, you’ve had your fill. Just let me go quietly into the night,” the 71-year-old Ender’s Game star reportedly said, later imploring his agents not to hand him any more scripts and to just “let [him] go to sleep forever.”

Hahahahah, this is awesome!

‘Agents of SHIELD: Uprising’ Trailer from The Oscars

‘Agents of SHIELD: Uprising’ Trailer from The Oscars

If you can get past the fact that this is a hand-held filming of a TV commercial this is sort of interesting if you’re into Agents of SHIELD like I am. Of course these things can often be given to hyperbole, but the spot promises that the Marvel Universe will be changed forever by a seismic shift. And who knows what the Uprising implies. And I don’t even know what that means because it’s not the title of the episode airing tomorrow night. The name of that episode is T.A.H.I.T.I. so I’m slightly confused. But I still can’t wait to see it. As usual, I’m a second class citizen according to them…

Watch Ellen Degeneres Opening Oscars Bit

Watch Ellen Degeneres Opening Oscars Bit

As usual, I’m too busy with Church and family for The Oscars. Maybe one year I’ll watch but I’m really just much more interested in finding out whot he winners are after the fact. Kind of strange for a guy who likes movies I know, but I would just rather watch the movies.

But I did enjoy watching Ellen DeGeneres opening bit. Seth McFarlane hosted last year and while he was not universally hated, many think that he was way too low class. The universal opinion is that DeGeneres had much more class, but was not overly stuffy. This can be proved by her opening bit which poked fun an pretty much…

The Oscar Winners

The Oscar Winners
ABC News

Sorry I’m getting started on posts so late today. We had an ice storm last night that has covered the roads with ice, and somehow took out my home internet. The roads have finally been cleared enough for me to make it to a McDonald’s (I know, I know) with free Internet and get some posts going.

So, anyway, enough of the boring stuff, here are the Oscar winners as reported by ABC news.

Best Picture: “12 Years a Slave.”

Actor: Matthew McConaughey, “Dallas Buyers Club.”

Actress: Cate Blanchett, “Blue Jasmine.”

Supporting Actor: Jared Leto, “Dallas Buyers Club.”

Supporting Actress: Lupita…

‘The Muppets’ Sequel Song

‘The Muppets’ Sequel Song

Bringing The Muppets back to the big screen in 2011 was nothing short of a rousing success. So it’s no surprise that they’re back this year. And by all accounts, it looks like it’s going to be great.

In this video we get to see the Muppets singing and dancing and cracking jokes at their own expense and telling us how sequels are never as good as the original and it’s just wonderful.

‘Fast & Furious 7’ Resumes Shooting in April

‘Fast & Furious 7’ Resumes Shooting in April
Angie Han — /Film

With a new script, a new release date, and a new plan for working around Paul Walker‘s passing, Fast & Furious 7 is finally getting ready to resume production.

Universal is gearing up to start filming again in Atlanta, where the high-speed actioner had been shooting before Walker’s death.

THR reports that cast and crew are preparing to shoot in Atlanta “on or near” April 1. That gives director James Wan and the studio about one year to complete the movie, which is scheduled to open April 10, 2015. About six to eight weeks of filming remain.

It will be interesting to see how they’ve…

Neeson’s Non-Stop Career — What To See This Weekend

Neeson’s Non-Stop Career — What To See This Weekend

This weekend, someone is apparently stupid enough to try to hijack a plane the Liam Neeson is on. We’ve already established the dude is not to be messed with, and certainly don’t take his daughter. But apparently someone is at it again. I feel like Neeson’s movies are just one big franchise.

New This Weekend

Non-Stop — PG-13

You can always count me in for a little Liam Neeson action. Taken was pretty good, and obviously his performance as Henri Ducard in Batman Begins was top notch. And He’s certainly everyone’s favorite Jedi (I hate you for killing him, George Lucas). And did I mention…
