Disney head Bob Iger dropped a big piece of news offhandedly during the Disney Investor’s Meeting today, stating that Brad Bird is working on the story for The Incredibles 2 and that Pixar is also working on a new Cars movie.

No surprise with the Cars sequel; I’m sure they will continue that franchise until it runs out of gas and stops making them money in toy stores and at theme parks. The Incredibles sequel, on the other hand, is big news, and fans should be excited that Brad Bird is involved.

I suppose by some measures of time, it was long overdue for someone to take advantage of this franchise. I can’t say I’m particularly excited about the money machines getting ahold of this one, but I have to say the teaser trailer does definitely get me excited about this film.

I wasn’t, and I’m still not too sure about the idea of a CGI 3D animation of The Peanuts, but I suppose I’ll give it a chance. I mean, IT’S SNOOPY! Look at him! And Good Grief Charlie Brown!

When Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits theaters April 4, be on the look out for Tony Stark’s Avengers Tower. As a hidden Easter Egg.

At the end of The Avengers, the Stark Tower was decimated, leaving only the “A” as a tease of what’s to come. There was also a brief scene where Stark is clearly seen working on an Avengers Tower. In Iron Man 3, Stark never visits New York as he’s plenty busy in California, Tennessee and Florida but that doesn’t mean the tower hasn’t been under construction. This sure looks like a lot of fun. Marvel is really on a roll and they show no signs of slowing. I definitely want to catch this.

It’s not much, but if you’re like me, you lap up most anything Marvel throws at you. In’s just a couple short weeks until Marvel kicks off their cinematic year and I can’t wait. At the risk of repeating myself, Captain America: The First Avenger was easily my favorite pre-Avengers Marvel film and I’m hoping that despite all the tonal and directorial differences we’ve been hearing about, Captain America can stay high on my list.

I like Steve Rogers as a character and I like Natasha Romanoff as a character. And the idea of putting the two opposites together in one film as co-stars should make…

It’s hard to call Season 6 the best season of TNG, but it had a lot of good episodes, and we got to see James Doohan reprise his role as Scotty so definitely call that a win! This season also included great episodes like:

• Ship in a Bottle
• Face of the Enemy
• Tapestry
• Birthright, Part 1 and Part 2
• Starship Mine
• Timescape
• Descent Part 1

It’s great to see a great show getting remasterd in glorious HD and I look forward to watching these in HD somehow, even though it would be cost prohibitive for me to buy the entire series — again.

At the end of last week’s Agents of SHIELD, we met Larelei who stole one half of a newlywed couple so that he could do her bidding. In this opening clip from the upcoming episode Yes Men airing Tuesday, Lorelei takes over a biker gang.

Lorelei is an Asgardian from the comics, but since I’m more into the cinematic universe and not the comics I don’t know much about her except that she’s sort of not a “good guy”.

Agents of SHIELD has sort of been like a snowball, continuing to build as it rolls along. I have loved the show since day one but it’s been getting better and better.

While they obviously can’t use the name GLaDOS because of rights issues, and the computer equipment doesn’t look a thing like GLaDOS, by getting Ellen McLain to voice the A.I. and using the same voice processing that Valve used on McLain’s voice for GLaDOS, it’s obvious what’s going on here. And I mean, evil A.I. voiced by Ellen, what more evidence do you need? Also, the sarcasm and personality sure seems to be GLaDOS’s.

It’s also a video obviously for kids, but that doesn’t mean the video isn’t fun (and informative). I love GLaDOS!

Changing one letter can change the entire meaning of something. I mean check it out! I nearly busted a gut laughing. And really, who doesn’t like Worf? Worf is awesome!

Also, this is some amazing editing right here. I’m one of the biggest trek nerds you might ever find and I’m not sure I could have found all those clips and pieced this thing together. I didn’t think to check while I was watching, but I’m pretty sure they pulled from all seven seasons of TNG to find the right clips for this thing.
