I think the Star Trek series I want in HD the most is Deep Space Nine. Well, I mean, I want it all in HD if I’m being honest, but Deep Space Nine is such a great series and it would be very awesome to have it in HD. I go back and forth on whether I like it better than TNG and it kind of depends on the day you ask me. But it is great Star Trek and I enjoy it and I want it. Let’s make this happen guys.

I have been wrong before, but it sure seems like I can feel how good this film is going to be in my bones. I’m really excited to see what RDJ and Duvall have for us here. Downey seems like he’s in his fairly characteristic style with a few twists, but I don’t think that has to be a bad thing. And hopefully I’ll be able to put aside my disllike of Billy Bob Thornton to enjoy this film. I mean, maybe he’ll actually even be tollerable, who knows.

What’s so funny is that I’m an avid honest trailer watcher. I love it, it cracks me up. So I think we talked about it in the commentary we used to sit in the room and go, “this is not going to end up in an Honest Trailer. This logic isn’t sound enough yet.” We literally tried to Honest Trailer proof the movie. I feel the need, the need to open my copy of Final Draft: a potential sequel to “Top Gun” has been gestating for awhile, with the project officially going into development a few years ago, with Peter Craig (“The Town”) penning a script, and original director Tony Scott and star Tom Cruise said to be returning. Marvel’s “Guardians Of The Galaxy” was number one for the fourth weekend (though not consecutively) and could only take it $10.7 million. That’s a pretty low figure for the #1 slot, but indicative of the slow weekend, not the movie. And besides, everything’s coming up roses for Marvel’s movie. The picture has now made $294.5 million domestically, which means that coveted $300 million mark will be surpassed either next weekend or the one afterwards.
