My guess is you will want to have a box of tissues very close when you go to watch this one. And if you’re a guy, woe betide you should the secret of your less than manly emotionalism be discovered. At least that’s sure the kind of movie this looks like.

Everybody was talking up a big storm about how cool this looked and so I clicked and I was a little disappointed. But you know, it’s about a film I’m greatly looking forward to so I thought I’d go ahead and share it with the rest of you movie geeks. The potential Justice League roster just expanded by one in Zack Snyder‘s new vision of the DC Universe. Theater actor Ray Fisher (not the football player) has been cast as Cyborg in Batman vs. Superman. Since Fisher just played Muhammed Ali in a play staged in New York, he should have the chops to sign on as Cyborg.

Mattel has found a starring role for Barbie, setting up a live action comedy at Sony Pictures that the toymaker will produce with Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald.

The studio plans to start lensing the film by the end of the year, using a script written by Jenny Bicks (she wrote for and executive produced Showtime’s “The Big C,” and co-wrote “Rio 2″).
