Nearly 18 months after Megan Ellison pledged over $20 million for the rights to finish The Terminator‘s humanity vs the Skynet cyborgs storyline with a new series of films, she has finally closed the complicated rights deal with Pacificorp. Other than the fact no progress has been made all this time on a script, the surprise here is Ellison has enlisted her brother, David Ellison, to be her financial and creative partner. Well look at me getting right on top of the news. We’ve got a clip from the upcoming Jack Reacher film. It’s good stuff. This film is going to be awesome. I hope I’m not getting my hopes up too high for it.

Still months away from its debut, and we’re learning more and more about Star Trek Into Darkness. Last week, Paramount released the official synopsis for the film, and now we have the first official teaser poster as well. Although we’ve been told that Into Darkness won’t be a rehash of The Dark Knight, the influence of the dark Batman franchise seems strong in the new poster.

Batman influence? Seriously? This is more than influence, this is a rip-off and it’s really annoying to me. What is happening to my beloved Star Trek franchise?

The cast and producers of Fox’s Fringe gathered at the Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver on Saturday night to celebrate the Warner Bros. TV series’ 100th — and final — episode. And now we have a title for that ultimate hour.

I know this has been online for a while, but I don’t always keep up with the “How it Should Have Ended” videos like I should — I mean really, I should keep up with them because I don’t think I’ve seen one yet that wasn’t hysterical. It’s espeically hysterical on movies that had you scratching your head already, like Thor did for me.
