Filming for Batman v Superman: Days of Justice is still in its early days, but there have been a few interesting reveals to come from the set since production began last month. Beyond the LexCorp building, set photos last week revealed a mysterious and clearly unfinished Superman statue. We’ve seen the humorous side of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy via every single trailer they’ve released so far, but this one shows us a bit more of the serious side. Sure there’s some humor in there because this is definitely going to be a film full of humor, but this is a lot more serious in tone than any previous trailer.

The film opens in six weeks so we can expect the Marvel machine to dial the PR up to eleven at this point. This more serious trailer is probably just the beginning of the final push of the campaign.

This might be total BS. We’re going to be honest about that. But reading this new information was interesting and fun, and even if it may not be true, why deny you the same joy? Let the Star Wars speculation continue!

I used to like The Lion King when I was a kid. But I have to say on subsequent rewatches as an adult, it’s not that great of a film. But it sure has some great music. And it’s not just plain terrible, so there’s that. And it was certainly the one of the last Disney films that was well animated for quite a long time. Thereafter, Disney started their plunge into that nasty, angular and ugly animation that I hate so much.

In any event, I loved this Honest Trailer for my beloved childhood film.

Happily, critics say the inevitable sequel lives up to the high standards set by its predecessor—it’s exuberant, ambitious, and visually striking.

Somehow, I missed Paddington Bear. I don’t know what’s wrong with me or my upbrining or whatever. Maybe it’s normal, although from what I can tell he seems to be somewhat of a sensation. Whatever, I missed it and have never heard of this bear before the movie became a thing.

Sony Pictures has purchased a spec script called Captain Nemo, written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. The pair are best known for co-creating the hit Superman show Smallville, but also worked on the scripts for films such as Spider-Man 2(the good one, from Sam Raimi), Shanghai Noon and I Am Number Four.

Harrison Ford has been injured on the set of Disney and Lucasfilm’s new “Star Wars” movie.

According to Disney, the 71 year-old actor was hospitalized after sustaining a bad ankle injury during filming on Wednesday.

“He was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care,” the statement reads.

Ford was at Pinewood studios in England when a hydraulic door reportedly fell down and hit him, possibly fracturing his ankle.
