Showrunner Bruce Heller revealed that a “prenatal Robin” storyline is in the works for Gotham. Also coming in a future episode is the return of the pint-sized Poison Ivy — though her BFF Harley Quinn will be sitting this season out.

Funny, as always, particularly the end part with Batman and Superman — which is the trope they always love to do now.

I’ve said in the past that I am just not the target demographic for this film, and that remains true. I’m not sure why we need this film or what it offers to compel me to go to the theaters to see it. In fact, this trailer makes the film look like an almost completely straight up retelling of the animated classic, without quite so much of the outlandishness — well, in some ways. The whole fairy godmother/glass slipper routine looks just as outlandish as the cartoon.

You guys remember Wreck-it Ralph? It was a film by Disney Animation Studios in 2012, and in many ways very much in the same line of work as the latest offering from Disney, Big Hero 6. I don’t mean that in terms of plot it is similar — indeed, it is very dissimilar in that way. What I do mean is that this is the new Walt Disney Animation Studios. I think we got a little hint of this with Bolt (2008), which was a surprisingly good film for what it was.
