With only twelve weeks to go before release, Lionsgate announced Friday that tickets for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will go on sale starting October 1st, at 12p.m. ET / 9a.m. PT with advance movie tickets available through Fandango and MovieTickets.com.

After several male dominated films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, more attention is turning to women. He mentions the removing of Bob Peterson from the role of director on Pixar’s upcoming ‘The Good Dinosaur’, which is a little worrisome. Next TJ highly recommends you take the time to watch Kevin Spacey’s comments about Netflix, Pilots, and ‘House of Cards’. Of course there’s lots of rumors circulating about Benedict Cumberbatch being involved in ‘Star Wars VII’. His reps do, of course, deny all. Speaking of denials, Bryan Cranston has also denied all rumors about having been cast as Lex Luthor in the upcoming ‘Man of Steel’. “Dead or alive, you’re coming with me.” This new Robocop film, which is a remake of the 1987 film staring Peter Weller as the man in the Robocop suit. The film is directed by José Padiha and stars Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Michael Keaton, and Abby Cornish.

The obvious drive of the plot, or at least the one they are letting us in on, is that there is a war between the man and the machine, between him and the system. Who’s in control. who’s making the decisions? This is the obvious takeaway from this trailer.

Now the iconic British character is being reimagined yet again, this time by an iconic British actor. Ian McKellen will play a retired Sherlock Holmes for Bill Condon‘s A Slight Trick of the Mind, based on the novel by Mitch Cullin.

According to the official announcement from Icon/AI Films, Slight Trick of the Mind will shoot next April in the U.K. Jeffrey Hatcher (Stage Beauty) is writing the screenplay. 

Well… huh. Apparently there is a series of books out there about an elderly Sherlock Holmes. Who knew, right?
