I have a whole lot of saved stuff coming out of San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) over the weekend that I’m still sifting through. I feel about like Dug from Up: “Hey, this thing looks cool, I think I’ll post… SQUIRREL!”

Abrams is planning to direct the next ‘Star Trek’ films in spite of his commitments to ‘Star Wars’ which, really, seems like a bad idea. We should get some new blood! Also, you may like to know about how ‘Man of Steel’ should have ended. Of course the movie would only have been like 30 minutes, but it would have been much better. TJ released his ‘Pacific Rim’ review on Wednesday and then talked about it on ‘The MovieByte Podcast’. ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ has a Premiere date! WooHoo! ‘Wolverine’ (the first Wolverine film, not the one coming up) got an honest trailer, which was a lot of fun. To be honest, this film doesn’t look great to me. Dreamworks has always been a bit hit or miss for me, and especially in the the past they’ve tended to be a bit copy cat like with some of their films.

But, I do have it on good authority that this film is better than one might expect so I’ll have to see it and form my own opinion.

I’m looking forward to this show with great anticipation, so of course I’m going to post this featurette for you all to see. I want to share my joy and excitement and… oh, you know, I mean Joss Whedon! How can a TV Show go wrong with Joss Whedon in the background pulling the strings? I submit that it cannot.

I know nothing of the book series, but those who do tell me that this film is going to be good. And I’m looking forward to it, for sure.

This is a trailer for a panel from San Diego Comic Con, but it’s the first look we’ve gotten at Jamie Foxx as Electro. It seems that whatever the deal is, and whatever is going on here, he can “feel it in his veins” or something. Man, can I not wait to not see this second installment in the reboot of the Spider-Man franchise. Ugh.
