Latino Review is reporting that an agreement has been reached and Spider-Man, instead of appearing in ‘Civil War,’ will now swing into “Avengers: Infinity War Part 1.” This is where the spoilers come into play. Director James Cameron said Wednesday that writing threeAvatar sequels is such a complex job he’s delaying the first new film a year and it will now be released in late 2017.

Cameron plans to film the highly anticipated sequels at one time and then release the three films over consecutive years.

The first had been due in late 2016, but he said the writing process had proved to be “very involved” and that the initial target date was probably too ambitious.

How can I possibly convey to you how much I don’t care? I’m just happy the foisting of this non-sense upon us has been delayed.

TJ and Joe discuss another WWII movie this week: ‘Unbroken’. True to form, what Joe likes more about this film than ‘The Imitation Game, TJ likes more about ‘The Imitation Game’, and vice versa. But it takes all sort of people to make the world go ‘round. The thing is, TJ and Joe are still friends… Also in discussion this week, the new ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ trailer, the trailer for Rob Thomas upcoming ‘iZombie’ TV series, the ‘House of Cards, Season 3’ trailer, rumors that Roberto Orci wanted to resurrect Vulcan, and a few thoughts on the Golden Globe Awards.

Marshall has now switched gears entirely, and it looks like it’s a Bourne-only world after all, at least as far as movies are concerned. He will not be rolling with Aaron Cross. “We don’t have plans for that. You never know. I never say never. But that’s not the plan. They’re on separate tracks,” he said.

I like Jeremy Renner, I like Hawk Eye and all that, but The Bourne Legacy with Aaron Cross was an unmitigated disaster and I’m glad to see them drop that idea like a hot potato. Meanwhile, I’m glad the real Bourne is back.

There are some people who make stuff and you just don’t ask questions. The only work I have seen of Rob Thomas’ is the TV series and crowd funded film Veronica Mars, but I am so there. If he can create anything with even a little bit of the creativity and fun of Veronica Mars we should be good to go.

This particular creative Endeavour from Thomas looks pretty weird, and I am so looking forward to it. I don’t typically go for all the zombie stuff, but this looks like quite the fun and creative twist on the concept. It reminds me at least a little of what Joss Whedon did with the Vampire…

The first teaser trailer for The Avengers was pretty fantastic and we all knew it was going to be hard to top that. In addition, Disney/Marvel is a machine, cranking promotion out based on a sort of formula. The teaser gave us goose bumps. It was slow to start, giving us chilling dialog and the promise of a menacing villain, followed by some action — but nothing too over the top.

Trailer 2 here is pretty much all action and no menace. It’s fun and there are shots we haven’t seen yet, but this trailer is here to appeal to the people who come to the theater for the big bangs and loud booms. As…

When Roberto Orci stepped down from directing Star Trek 3, rumor had it that one of the major problems was his screenplay. According to Badass Digest, the script saw the Vulcans racing to find a time travel device so that they could go back in time and save their planet Vulcan from (in the reboot’s new timeline) Nero blowing it up with red matter, effectively rebooting the reboot.

It’s for several reasons that I’m glad Orci won’t be helming the new Star Trek, but this one is paramount: They shouldn’t try and resurrect Vulcan!

Remember that my passion for film is (sadly) part time and I can’t see every film that comes out. In addition, when it comes to the TV awards — as much as I love TV — I’ve seen even less because I can only make so much time for new TV shows and I’m very picky and choosy. I may not pick and chose the shows you want me to watch, but I do pick and chose.
