If I had a complaint about Agents of SHIELD‘s first episode, it was the very end where they went all Back to the Future with Coulson’s car. That seemed cheesy and silly and uncalled for. But they did it, and I think this video adds a new height of hilarity to the situation.

Yeah, yeah, I know Enterprise was not as great as most of the rest of the Star Trek franchise, but it actually got quite good in seaons 3 and 4, to the point that I was sad when it was canceled. Hate on me all you want, but season 3 is some pretty good Star Trek. It may not ever have soared to the height of drama brought to us by Captain Sisko during the dominion war. Based on Nielsen’s Live + 3 Day TV playback data released this morning, ABC’s Tuesday debut of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. saw its Adult 18-49 number spike by +1.78 rating points from a 4.70 L+SD to a 6.48 L+3 rating, making it the biggest absolute gainer for any show this season and solidifying its standing as theseason’s #1 new series.  The ABC drama debut also saw its Total Viewer count surge by 3.7 million, building from 12.1 million viewers in Live + Same Day to 15.8 million in Live + 3 Days.

Reuters reports that Netflix is absolutely confident that AD isn’t going anywhere, with honcho Ted Sarandos saying that it’s “no question” the series has a permanent home with the streaming giant. And while we last heard that negotiations were ongoing with creator Mitch Hurwitz, the main issue—as always—is the herculean task of bringing the insanely busy cast together again (which was what delayed this year’s reunion for so long in the first place).

This spot was apparently shown during the premiere of Agents of SHIELD which makes sense. But I didn’t get to see it since I don’t do cable and didn’t watch the premiere on premiere night. No worries though, because that’s what the internet is for, to let me get caught up on and watch stuff like this. There’s good stuff here that we haven’t seen yet and I’m super excited for this upcoming film. We’ll get to see it on November 8^th!

Nothing is official yet, but multiple outlets are reporting Martin Scorsese‘s upcoming film The Wolf of Wall Street is highly unlikely to hit its November 15, 2013 release date.

The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey, Jonah Hill, Kyle Chandler and Jean Dujardin, and rumor has it Scorsese recently turned in a near-three hour cut and needs to slim it down closer to two. That’ll take some time, and that time will likely mean the film misses the 2013 Oscar race.
