Comicbook.com is reporting that Disney plans to release the original Star Wars trilogy in their original, untouched form, on Blu-ray. The report claims that Disney has been hampered by getting the orginal negatives into good shape. There’s one problem with this report:

Disney doesn’t own Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back or Return of the Jedi. Fox does. They also own the distribution rights to the Prequels.

The rights to Empire and Jedi and the Prequels will revert to Lucasfilm (and thus Disney) in 2020, but Fox will retain the rights to Star Wars forever. In perpetuity. And they’ll never…

Zelda Williams abandoned her Twitter and Instagram accounts Tuesday after saying at least two people were sending her Photoshopped images of her father’s dead body and other disturbing messages—some blaming her for father’s death.

“Godzilla 2: Maybe We’ll See More Godzilla This Time” will be released on June 18, 2018, at which time the film will square off against Untitled Pixar Animation Movie. Gareth Edwards’ take on the classic giant radioactive reptile template stomped its way to gross over $500 million worldwide, which isn’t bad for a monster movie with more Aaron Taylor-Johnson therein than monsters.

I hope it’s better than the first which wasn’t terrible, but in the end turned out to be fairly forgettable.

Even though we don’t find out who Peter Quill’s father is—only that Star-Lord actually does have some alien blood in him—in Guardians of the Galaxy, James Gunn recently revealed that he’s been thinking about this particular character since even before they shot the movie.

However, now that he’s settling in to write the sequel, he can tell us who Star-Lord’s dad definitely isn’t.

Lucy over-promised with it’s trailers, and under-delivered in the theater. That’s the sad truth of it if you want Joe and TJ’s opinion.
